Datuk Kang Hua Keong is the former National President of the SME Association of Malaysia since 2015. National Recovery council and National Employment Council member, He is also the director of SMB Solutions Management Sdn Bhd and SMB Connection Sdn Bhd, a couple of companies involved in ICT businesses, Organic Fertilizers Manufacturing and Consultancy services since 1992. President of Danong Group that involve in Agriculture business since 2021.

He launched the SME community services since he joined SME Association in 1998. With an approximate 20 years of experience in SME Community and a keen promoter of Malaysia’s SME sector, Kang has worked tirelessly to develop the SME landscape and encourage business owners to transform their business to keep up with global markets. He was a member of the Oversight Committee for Excise Duty under the Ministry of Finance, where he served to bridge the communication between SMEs and the authorities.

– Advisory for Fruits farmer Association of Malaysia (since 2016),
– Bank Negara FX monitor sub committee ( since 2016),
– Chairman of the National Tax reform Road Show under SME Malaysia (since 2014),
– member of the Monitoring Committee for Tax Reform under the Ministry of Finance (since 2014),
– Director of the Human Resources Development Fund (since 2013),
– member of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health under the
– Ministry of Human Resource (since 2013 to 2017),
– member of the incubator program DRIVERS under the Ministry of Science
– Technology and Innovation (since 2013).
